The location was absolutely amazing, with beautiful scenery, and the staff were very accommodating whenever we had a request. The experiences were incredible, really once-in-a-lifetime things, and the holiday as a whole was incredible. We stayed in a lodge for the full experience. There was plenty of space, but nothing fancy, and the lodges never got warm because of the location, so we still wore layers indoors. The hotel rooms seemed much warmer if that's what you're after. The sauna would struggle to fit two kids, let alone adults. The bathroom at the front of the lodge smelled bad, and nothing got rid of it. There was plenty of food, but even people who aren't fussy might find it challenging. I'd urge anyone with the opportunity to go.

They made my 13 year old son ride alone in a cart, and it ruined the whole experience. They wouldn't let him ride behind me on the snowmobile, even though I have a full car and bike licence. They said it was the law, but that's rubbish: as long as you're approximately 130cm tall, you can ride on the back. He rode behind me last year and the year before, and the law hasn't changed. They probably just have cheap insurance.

The dining area was a warm haven even at -20°C, and the rooms were cozy. The staff were arctic-ally brilliant! A little less pepper in the soup and tea or coffee with the biscuits would make it perfect.

The activities were all well organised, and the staff were great. The food was wholesome, with three good meals a day. Don't expect fine dining, but it's a great hotel.

There are lots of activities on site, and both the food and service are very good. The location right on the Finland and Sweden border is great.
