We found it really handy for nearby attractions, and the people were so welcoming. A lovely hotel, with excellent food.

The food was absolutely delicious, served in a spacious dining hall, and there's a supermarket just across the road. The staff were lovely, the Wi-Fi worked well, and our room was very clean, though a bit old-fashioned. There's even an electric piano in the lobby.

We enjoyed the relaxed, informal feel here, and the self-service buffet suited us well. The Finnish hosts were eager to help with most things, so we'd happily return. Lisa, the live-in Transun rep, also made a real difference, pointing us toward sights in Hetta during our Arctic Adventure 4-day break with Transun. The traditional family-run hotel was warm and clean, with comfortable beds and lovely hot showers. It was quiet at night, and after active days out in the cold February weather, we really appreciated the food.

After a three-day hike we were starving, and this turned out to be just the place. The staff welcomed us warmly, the prices were reasonable, and the portions and quality were good. My friends went for local dishes like reindeer and lohikeitto, while I was looking forward to pizza, and we were all happy with what we got. The chef came by a couple of times to check in and chat. We were camping nearby, so I can't comment on the rooms, but based on the meal and service I'd feel comfortable booking one. If you're around and want a good restaurant at fair prices, this is a great stop.
