The atmosphere here was just what we wanted after staying in places that felt more like resorts. It’s quiet and relaxing, and the other guests and staff helped keep it that way. We had a wonderful time. The location is beautiful, with great, well-groomed ski trails right by the cabin. We also really enjoyed the sauna and breakfast.

We spent last midsummer in this lovely, very quiet place. We were almost alone by the lake, surrounded by beautiful scenery. I recommend it to anyone who loves the beauty of silence and nature.

Vuontispirtti is closed and is currently a construction site. They say it’s going to become a luxury hotel for wealthy foreign tourists. Or have I misunderstood?
