You get good value for the price, and everything was clean and tidy apart from some hairs I found in the sheets. The real nuisance was leaving the car park. They hadn’t given me the required tag, so I had to walk through the garage doors. The remote also worked poorly, meaning I had to wait around for five minutes until someone let me out or the remote started working.

We stayed for two nights, and the apartment was neat, clean, and tidy, with all the appliances and utensils we needed. It’s in Espoo city center, near the station and shopping mall, and the rate was very affordable. There’s a sauna, though we didn’t use it. The sleeping setup is one bedroom with two single beds, plus two more beds and a sofa in the leaving room. Helsinki is about 40 minutes away by train or taxi.

It’s an apartment with a kitchen rather than just a room, and the rooms are nice and clean. The train station is close by. Finding the place was difficult, especially arriving in the dark. A sign outside would help.

As temporary housing, Hiisi was a pretty good experience. The locks are neat: you authenticate on your mobile, then knock to get in. Still, that setup is less practical than the number codes you get at other places.

The management were friendly and very helpful over the phone. The apartment was very clean, shopping was easy, and Helsinki was easy to reach.
