I had to rush out of the apartment. The strong smell and mold triggered an allergy attack in under 20 minutes, and the bathroom sink was clogged. The location is somewhat off the main road, but that wasn’t my main concern.

It’s quite a way from Helsinki city centre, and the metro station isn’t especially close either. We couldn’t get into the room until 5:30 pm, yet checkout was still at 11:00 am.

This is a very quiet residential area, so it won’t suit you if you want somewhere lively. Westend beach is close enough to walk to, and the metro and bus stations are nearby too. The room was clean and had a fridge, kitchen, and basic utensils.

The place is tidy, spacious enough, and well equipped for a short stay. It’s also priced well for a longer one. Aino mall is a five minute walk away, and the Keilaneimi office area is within walking distance. Digital locks save you the hassle of losing a key. One thing Forenom could improve: an English guide in the apartment for the electronic items, since some guests staying here are foreigners.

It’s a quiet, pleasant place, with a park, supermarket, and mall all within walking distance. The rent was 70 eur per day, and everything is handled online, with very good customer care support. We had a washing machine and dress pressing equipment, plus all the utensils and basics needed to cook. They hand over a neat room, and after that we’re responsible for maintaining it, with supplies provided for that.
