During our motorcycle trip around Finland, I asked politely whether I could eat my own food because I have a special diet. A middle-aged blonde woman answered sharply that “they are a restaurant.” I understand restaurants have rules, but her response came across as hostile and needlessly arrogant. Some customer service training would help.

They used to be a great stop for us night travelers going between Pori and Helsinki, but that’s changed. The roof still says “restaurant 24h,” while the kitchen now closes at 22:00. That feels like false advertising. :(

I always have to get a Keidaspulla when I stop here. There’s fresh coffee, buns and sandwiches, plus a grocery store. They may serve lunches and meals too, but I haven’t tried those. A good place to stop.

A great place to break the trip. It’s always open, and the service is professional. I didn’t stay in the lodgings, but I’m pretty sure they’re great too. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
