The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and I believe the desk was open around the clock. You could buy snacks and some toiletries there, and there was also a buffet café downstairs with breakfast and lunch options. The room itself was basic but fairly clean and spacious, with a kitchenette and a wet-room style bathroom. Kitchen utensils were kept in the common area for guests to collect and return. Towels were supplied, but not soap or shower gel.

For a last-minute booking at a 2 star hotel, I enjoyed the stay, especially with the city centre about a 20 minute walk away. The beds were on the firm side but comfortable enough, and the shower water felt good and was easy to adjust. The restroom and beds were alright, and our twin room had a small kitchen with utensils. I could have used more than one pillow for my bed, and free parking would have been nice.

The location made it especially convenient, close to the train station and a large shopping area. I stayed in a 2-bed female room, which felt more like a suite apartment, with a kitchen and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and towels and washing liquids were provided. I also borrowed an iron for free. I loved having a shower head by the toilet, since I’m used to one at home. Best hostel I’ve stayed in.

For the price, this was a great deal, right in the heart of the city, with a clean room and breakfast available. WiFi only worked in the small lobby. For a decent connection in your room, bring an Ethernet cable or rent one for 3€ for the whole stay.
