My family went inside and quickly found the room crawling with bedbugs. I didn't enter the hotel myself, fortunately. A woman outside warned us before we went in, so we avoided bringing the bugs home. The company seems to deny the problem even though it appears to be spreading. Always check your room, wherever you stay, because you really don't want to carry these things into your own house.

The shared kitchen was continually dirty, and there was visible mould in the bathroom. I also got just one towel for the whole stay, there was no room cleaning, and checkout meant taking out my own rubbish. The room itself was uncomfortable, with no air conditioning, and the single room I was given felt like a prison cell. I had booked a studio, but was assigned the wrong room on arrival. I was in Helsinki on a business trip and expected somewhere functional and reasonably comfortable; instead, the place was depressing and poorly maintained, adding stress to an already demanding trip. Forenom advertises a practical stay, but it failed to meet even basic standards in my experience. I'd caution other travelers, especially for business trips.

We came for work expecting studio apartments booked by our company, but got tiny single rooms with barely enough room to open a suitcase. We arrived at noon and couldn't get a room until after 4:00 PM. There was no place to store luggage, nobody on site to talk to, and chat support was useless. The room had no heat or AC and got really cold at night. There's no daily cleaning or fresh towels and sheets. The kitchen was filthy, and the TV wouldn't work, with no channels or phone connection. Service was very poor, and the accommodation was completely misrepresented. I wouldn't recommend it for work or leisure.

The condition of my room was awful. The floor had a sticky film, and a hardened stain on the bed made it feel unhygienic. The handheld bidet in the bathroom was faulty too, spraying water everywhere whenever I turned on the sink. My company had booked a seven-night work stay in Helsinki, with studio rooms reserved in advance, but we were handed small single rooms with no explanation. Emails asking them to sort it out got no reply, and phone calls were repeatedly brushed aside. After one night I couldn't take it any longer, so I booked another hotel at my own expense and accepted the financial loss instead of staying there again.
