Getting around was easy, with the metro right next door, the city centre within walking distance, and the airport bus on the same street. I’d recommend choosing a room with a view, as you can watch the city wake up in the morning. My room and bathroom were both large and clean, and the breakfast buffet was very satisfying. Everyone working here was kind and helpful, starting with check-in. It was a pleasure to stay.

I paid for parking at the hotel reception and have the receipt, but I’m still receiving parking fines. When I was leaving, the receptionist said he would fix the mistake and that I didn’t need to do anything. I can’t get in touch with the hotel about it. They answer the phone for room bookings, but when I explain the problem, they send me to a line that nobody answers.

The rooms are simple and old-fashioned, but clean and quiet, with good beds. Breakfast was good, and they had a decent range of gluten-free bread and other items. The location suited us well, and there’s a garage beneath the hotel with 16 parking spaces. They’re very narrow, though, and parking costs 28,-€ for 24 hours.

On my first trip to Helsinki, I needed to call Australia about a banking issue, and the hotel let me use their phone. That was terrific care for a guest. The breakfast was unbelievably good for the price too. Thanks.
