I've lived next to the hostel for years, and the people running it are horrible. The houses are close to collapse and aren't looked after properly. The yard hasn't been cleaned, and now we're starting to see rats in the neighborhood because of it. They've had louses etc. I would avoid the place. There's a reason the price is reasonable or cheap. The city tried to close the hostel over multiple issues, but lost in court on a technicality, so the owners got to keep it open. It's a shame.

The room itself was fairly nice and clean, and the place has a lot of potential, but everything else was a mess. The front door had no lock, though you could lock your room. The bed was worn out and too soft. It works if you just need somewhere to sleep, but the place hasn't been cared for.

The service was friendly. When the guesthouse hostess found out we were traveling light by bike, we got towels even though they weren't included in the accommodation. The location in Naantali's old town is great, but the rooms are old-fashioned. The doors were hard to close, and there were no hand towels or paper towels in the toilet. If you like old-fashioned places, this might suit you.
