Scandic Park

The gym had plenty of room even when I went, and it stays open until midnight. The restaurant menu was delicious too, though it's a shame the restaurant isn't open on Sundays. This is my second time at Scandic Park, and the staff have been extremely helpful, attentive, and caring. The rooms are always clean, and breakfast has a wide range of choices, including options that work if you're watching your diet for sport. It suits both business and private trips. Can't wait to visit again :)

The tram stop is just a minute's walk away, and Scandic Park across the road is a nice place for a morning walk before heading into the city centre. I stayed for three nights and found it good value, with a comfortable modern room and a generous breakfast included in the rate. The bed was nice, the toilet was sparkling clean, and the room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was really, really good. I still miss the Finnish overnight oats and bacon. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki for an affordable stay and a good start to the day.

I've stayed here before and would come back. The rooms are nice, the showers are warm, and breakfast was excellent each morning. The pool was very good, and the sauna was fantastic. It's about five minutes to the centre by tram or a 20-minute walk.

There was a lot on offer for our family, from the gym, multiple saunas and pool to a fresh breakfast with plenty of choice. My father, my two sons and I stayed in the standard family room for four, a king bedroom suite with a bath, and an extra standard teenage room, which was well worth the price. Good value, kid-friendly, and a beautiful park is right across the street. It's an easy 20-minute walk to the city, with convenience stores, a wine shop and restaurants behind the hotel across the street. Igor, I believe that was his name, was outstanding with the service. Just a heads-up, the pool isn't suitable for small children who aren't strong swimmers, so bring a flotation device or stay in the water with your little one.
