The breakfast was wonderful, and the buffet staff were lovely and friendly too. At reception, we were welcomed with big smiles, kindness and helpfulness. Our room was cozy and comfortable, had a nice outlook, and was well supplied. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I'm changing my review because of a check-in service error. I was charged twice for the stay. I gave the receptionist a virtual card to pay, but she asked for the physical card instead. She said the Apple Pay number was different from the one on the plastic card, and asked me to tap the card on the contactless reader so she could see the virtual card number. It seemed strange, but I tapped it. She then supposedly entered the charge and asked me to tap the virtual card again to pay, since she now had the number. I only realized at home, after checking out, that the stay had been charged twice. I also asked for an emailed receipt. She said she'd send it the day before checkout, but it never arrived. I had to wait in line again at check-in to ask for a paper receipt. Before that, I thought the rooms were clean and cozy, and liked the location. Breakfast was good, with bread, fruit, eggs and vegetarian options. The only small issue I noticed was that the blanket could've been wider.

The hotel was well connected to central Helsinki, and the rooms had everything I needed. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and the sauna was lovely.

For Helsinki, I don't think you'll find better value all round. The price was reasonable, the bed was fine, the WiFi was free and worked fine, and the shower was good. Staff were nice, and breakfast had a good variety. It's a five-minute walk to Rouhalati metro, then one stop to Kamppi or two to Central Station, with the route going through a shopping mall.
