The hostel feels secure, with card locks at the entrance to each floor and on the room doors, plus a security box for each person in the room. It’s a large, clean place, with a big lobby where you can relax or leave your luggage. The showers have curtains, and there seems to be a sauna too. The bus and tram stops are just a 2-3 minute walk away, though getting to the city center by bus may take 30 minutes.

A good option for budget travelers in Helsinki. The staff were sweet and helpful, and gave us tips for finding good places around the city. The beds are cozy, the sauna is really good, and there’s an excellent kitchen where you can cook. The tram stop is nearby, so getting around is easy.

It’s a nice place, with good public transport connections, though it isn’t near the center. The sauna is nice and has scheduled times for men and women. The showers are a bit small, and there’s nowhere to leave your dry clothes while you shower.

A quiet, very nice and cheap place to stay in Helsinki. You can easily take a bus to anywhere in the city. I’d recommend getting a bus pass for a few days, which you can buy at the hostel reception.

For Helsinki, where things are expensive, this place is very cheap. The facilities are fairly new and clean, and the Wi-Fi is okay. The shower room has no door or curtain and can’t be locked, which made me rush through my shower in case someone opened the door and saw me naked. That felt really weird. The soundproofing was awful too. Some drunk girls shouted in the hall all night, and I couldn’t sleep.
