I'm not even sure this place is worth 50€ a night.

We went for Sunday lunch as a family, and there was a really good variety of food. At 25 €/person, the price felt very reasonable. I'd recommend it.

The first night was cold, and the bedspreads weren't great. The pillows were really flat and worn out. The next evening, guests in the room beside us were talking and laughing so loudly at 10:30 pm that we could hear them through the walls and couldn't sleep. The price didn't include breakfast, either. Getting there was confusing because the roadside sign didn't make it clear where to drive. The yard was empty when we arrived, though we found a good place to park. Outside the door, a ball-shaped grill was full of cigarette ends, and both ashtrays on the stairs were full. The ads say the place is smoke-free, but with the window open that first night, cigarette smoke came right inside. It was quite an experience. We won't be back.

The food tasted fresh and seemed to have been made on site. As someone who works in this field, I could tell the potatoes might have been peeled elsewhere, and that was probably the one item prepared off-site. The tables were clean, and hygiene seemed well looked after. There are high chairs for kids, too. It's a quiet restaurant in a nice, peaceful spot, with a style of its own that gives it a little feeling of stepping back in time. I haven't seen the rooms, so I can't really comment on them, but I think they're worth the price. They're not always expensive.
