The meal was tasty, especially the crisp, fresh salad, and there was plenty of room in the new building where we met. We held our union's autumn meeting at the South Ostrobothnia College. The grounds were lovely, and the old main building looked beautiful from the outside. The other buildings seemed due for replacement.

I don't recommend this school. Since I started here, my anxiety has returned, and I struggle to eat properly in the cafeteria because teachers have stared at my chest. That feels completely unacceptable. The rules around clothing feel sexualizing: women get criticized for what they wear, while men can play volleyball shirtless. I'm studying here now, and this place is absolutely awful.

The school staff took my two bicycles to the landfill on 6.5.24 without asking me, and then refused to give them back. The restaurant food is very bad, there’s often a strong smell from the nearby farm, some rooms get cold in winter, and the dorm has no soundproofing. There are good teachers, plenty of activities and fast wi-fi, and the scenery around the college is beautiful. I like the general atmosphere of learning.

The theater side left me feeling depressed and panicky. My classmates had nervous breakdowns, and 2 friends dropped out because of the environment. Even though free speech seemed important in a class like this, I found I couldn't express my opinion. Classmates made sexist comments, and older people at the school gave me strange looks when I wore makeup sometimes. The place itself was really nice, but the people could be annoying. I spent a year there and didn't enjoy it. I really don't recommend the theater side; I'd rather go to the Seinäjoki Youth side. Good luck to everyone coming here.
