The spa was enjoyable, though really cold. If it had been a little warmer, I'd have given it five stars. The room felt a bit old but was still fine, and breakfast was okay, except the coffee really didn't taste good. I spent days reading reviews before deciding whether to visit, but I'm glad we tried it ourselves. The dinner buffet was better than expected and we liked most of the food.

The area around the hotel was lovely, with nature trails and rental bikes, which made the state of the place feel like a shame. After one night, we were ready to leave. The hotel could use a serious overhaul. Breakfast was pretty decent, a well-stocked hotel buffet even without many local specialties. Dinner at the à la carte restaurant was the opposite: mediocre food, a long wait, and a price that felt way too high for the experience. The room was the roughest part. It looked stuck in the 80s or 90s, with worn walls and especially battered bathroom flooring. The air felt stale, though there was a small window to open and blackout curtains. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, the sheet was too small and came off as we tossed around, and the stained bed cover underneath was unpleasant to see. The spa had plenty of pools and we enjoyed swimming for a couple of hours. The water temperature was fine, but the area showed its age, with worn, rusty, or broken things around. The floor outside the pools was incredibly slippery, worse than I'd encountered at other spas. The long slide was fun in theory, but its signal kept acting up, leaving people waiting for minutes even after the previous person had cleared it. In the changing room, the locker reader often failed to recognize my wrist tag, and I had to try about five times to lock it. The shower soap dispensers I tried were all empty. Check-in staff were polite, but the long handwritten personal information form in 2025 made no sense to me. Watching the line barely move while people filled it out was mind boggling. The entrance looked quite neat, with little shops and a game room behind them. They charged 7€ for a bathrobe and slippers, with some explanation about saving the environment. Asking people not to waste things is fair, but charging extra for something standard at spas felt absurd. I was surprised the towel was free. There were a couple of restaurants, and we tried the à la carte place for dinner and the buffet for breakfast. The dinner took forever and was overpriced for the mediocre food. The hotel also had a few restaurants, and we tried the dinner à la carte option and breakfast buffet. Breakfast was decent, better than the "fine" dining the previous evening. What a pity, since the surroundings themselves were really pretty, with trails and bikes to explore them.

The surrounding area was lovely, though it wasn't clear how to get to the beautiful clear-water beach. The room was spacious but had no air conditioning. The spa was very nice, while breakfast was among the worst I've seen. Left me with mixed feelings.

We really enjoyed this pool. There's lots of room to swim, relax in the sun, or spend time with the kids, and the water was crystal clear. The atmosphere felt welcoming, so it made for an easy, fun holiday with the family. A lovely place for making vacation memories ☺️👌

The hotel was clean and had loads to do, including swimming and bowling. Compared with other Finnish spas I've been to, this is one of the best. I hope to come back. If you're reading this, don't go to Flamingo spa in Helsinki🤮 The food was good, but frustratingly dry. The bacon was like chewing on a tree branch. The bar was closed because there weren't many customers, which I can't really blame the hotel for. Taikametsä, the spa's main area, has these random effects where it suddenly rains or epic music starts playing. The first time felt like being in a movie. Sadly, most of the rain sprinklers are broken, and only one works, though it still makes quite a bit of simulated rain. The water felt a little cold, perhaps because of the weather or because there weren't many people there at the time. I hope they fix the sprinklers and the dry food, and keep the game room open longer. It would've been a night to play pool after 11am.
