I arrived by bicycle on 9th August 2025, but the place was already closed to tents and caravans. The owner waved me away dismissively and told me to find somewhere else. Cyclists on EV11 shouldn’t count on this place, especially heading north to south, since the next official camping option is 40-50 kms away.

The cottages are modern, clean and really well equipped, and each one has its own parking spot. Kajaani Cottages is a great example of dedication and customer service. I’d happily live in one. If you’re staying in the area, visit Kajaani Cottages.

The apartments were clean and cosy, and it’s a really nice, quiet place with a big sauna. I would have given four stars, but the excellent service earned the extra one.
