The rooms are in a newer rowhouse and felt clean, roomy, and well kept. Oulu center is about a 15-minute ride away. Breakfast was fine too, and it worked really well for a stay of a few nights.

The service was friendly, and the stay felt pleasantly different from a chain hotel. I liked the new apartment, which was cozy and clean. The room in the older part was clean too, but it had an unpleasant smell. The free billiards and use of the hut were nice extras đź‘Ť.

I stayed here for four weeks in 2019, when it was still fairly new, and found it a good place. Some people even arrive by airship. The front terrace doesn't get the evening sun, and there's no terrace behind the apartment. Backpackers and sales reps seemed to make up most of the guests. There isn't much to draw families with kids, apart from the barbecue hut, and I understand one apartment is set aside for people traveling with animals.
