The beach sauna was included in the price, with sessions from 8-10 pm, or, I hear, 6-10 pm when there isn't a youth event. The saunas were good, and people kept coming and going. No gospel was served during sauna time. The water at the end of the pier is maybe 2.5 m deep. There was only one shower near reception, and we were told it had only cold water. Opening two showers makes the water warm, apparently because something is wrong with the system. I saw the same issue mentioned in another review. There aren't many showers if the site is full, or even if just 25% of the spots are occupied. The toilets are in the same building, with a garbage shed next door. The dog beach is a bit of a joke. There is a beach, but the sandy part is only about 2 m wide, and water grass starts around four meters from shore. Our dog wouldn't swim there. We eventually found the basic kitchen, though it wasn't obvious at first. The website mentioned food and school, but not caravan services on site. Google Maps doesn't tell you this is a Pentecostal-run camping area. That's why it's so large, since they hold spiritual mass events there. Good luck if you happen to visit during one.

There's plenty of space, maybe too much, so getting from one spot to another can mean walking or cycling. The reception was good, and there's a good frisbee golf course if that's your thing. The place feels stuck in the 80s, though, and the women's showers had no hot water.

The staff are approachable and easy to talk to. It's a peaceful, idyllic spot where I can sometimes focus on other thoughts and get away from busy everyday life. I recommend it to anyone looking for some peace.
