The room was fine, and both the buffet dinner we got free when we arrived late and breakfast the next morning were decent. The trouble was the payment. My booking said I could pay at the property, but they charged my bank account before I had even arrived. Taking someone's money without their explicit permission, especially when it comes to payment, feels like theft.

It's a little outside Vaasa's center, though getting there is easy enough by car, taxi, or public transport. The hotel itself is friendly, clean, and fairly modern, and the complimentary dinner is a nice extra.

It's close to nature, but a long way from the city center and its activity. The rooms are extremely dated, with no air conditioning or even a fan. They brought a fan on day six, but with 28-degree weather outside, the room felt like an oven. I also didn't care for the restaurant food, just my opinion. And expect workers renovating the building to wake you at 07:00 every morning.

We were leaving early, so the staff made breakfast bags for us the evening before. They also saved some evening buffet for our late arrival after we called ahead. The place was clean and reasonably priced, with a good sauna, pool table, and bar. Receptionist Sandra was especially attentive. A very nice hotel with good service.

The place has a somewhat dated feel and sits a bit far from the center. You can rent a bike for €5 a day, if I remember right. Breakfast and dinner are included, the Wi-Fi is free, and there's a pool table.
