The village is so quiet, and even in July only a few of the dozen or so apartments had guests. There was a little road noise, but it didn't spoil the peaceful feel. Set by Lake Iso-ruhmas near Jaala, the apartment felt almost new and was very clean. The village has a couple of playgrounds, barbecue shelters, a boat, and beach saunas. Those saunas also have two hot tubs, though they haven't been used in a while. Our villa had its own wood-fired sauna and barbecue setup, but no hot tub. The air-to-air heat pump was a drawback, though opening up for ventilation kept things fairly bearable when it was 30C outside during the day. We had a good stay and would come back.

We had a really heartfelt week and enjoyed being out in nature. It has been a long time since we've had a holiday this comfortable. Alexander, thanks for the warm hospitality, the care you showed us, and for letting us spend our vacation in such a lovely place.

We wanted a break from the big city, so my family headed to Villa Maria. The forest, fresh air, and crystal-clear lake made it a lovely spot to relax. The villa had what we needed, including the kitchen utensils and appliances. The fireplace and sauna stood out most for us. A huge thank you to the host. ALEXANDER IS A WONDERFUL PERSON; HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING, OFFERED SUGGESTIONS, AND SHOWED US AROUND. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT AUTUMN HOLIDAY.

The location was lovely and everything was very clean. We liked the underfloor heating, fireplace, sauna, and beautiful furnishings. Just one thing missing: we still haven't spotted a moose. 😉

The cottage village is peaceful, and the villa is in a great spot. Its beach is shallow and good for families with children, and just about 100m from the cottage. A really great villa.
