During the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, finding a place to stay is difficult, and Parkki Hostel is a good option if there's space. It's modest, but clean and well maintained. Prices go up during the festival, which is understandable. The upstairs rooms have no showers. Breakfast is good.

The breakfasts were delicious, the hosts friendly, and the rooms clean. It's excellent value, and I thoroughly recommend this guesthouse when traveling to Kuhmo.

It's centrally located, with everything you need close by. The service is friendly, and the toilets and showers are good. The kitchen and dining area are bright. I'd recommend it if you don't need hotel-level services.

The room was comfortable, service was good, and the facilities were clean. They couldn't arrange breakfast for some reason, but the night before I got to choose what went into a bag breakfast, at a small discount. That worked really well. Some of the surfaces are in poor condition, and the premises could use a bit of surface renovation. It might also be worth checking the building to find out why the air feels stale.
