Kärppälän Rustholli

At 3 am, the barn had only reached 7 degrees, and we ended up sleeping in our down jackets under the thin summer blankets. By 9:30, our body heat had brought it up to just 11 degrees. We made coffee with the four plastic mugs in the picnic basket, drank it quickly, and left for somewhere warm. There were also two wine glasses on the shelf. We'd rented the barn for one night in mid-December, planning to stay after a party. It cost 90 euros for four people, plus 75 euros at the bargain price for two more. When we arrived at the agreed time, the temperature was 0 degrees. The landlady was there and said it would be warm by the time we got back that night. Definitely NOT a cottage for winter!

The food was really tasty, and the service and cozy atmosphere were great. Highly recommend 👍

A great place to get together or hold a party. Pepper Catering serves delicious food here. I'd recommend it!

We celebrated a birthday weekend in July at Rustholli with the whole close family, and it's a lovely place for that kind of gathering. The heat was the only tricky part, though that was down to the weather, not the venue. Pirjo's food was good and there was plenty of it. The rooms were comfortable, and the Karelian pies were especially delicious. I warmly recommend it!
