I was so captivated by the eclectic, historic house and its natural surroundings that I forgot to take pictures. We arrived late one evening after booking just 15 minutes earlier, and somehow the host was ready for us. It was peaceful and quiet. He asked if we'd eaten, then brought tea with homemade bread and cheese, and greeted us the next morning with a wonderful breakfast. We'd planned to get up early and leave, but I found it hard to go. I wish I'd had time to explore the area and simply slow down for a while. A 12 out of 10 experience, and I'll definitely be back.

The owners were extremely accommodating, and our host was remarkable. We had a comfy bed and room, plus excellent tea with natural honey available around the clock. Breakfast was nice too. The setting is lovely and quiet, and the drive from Loviisa was worth it.

The price was very affordable, so I’d consider staying again. The hosts were kind and keen to help, and parking in the yard was possible. It’s a peaceful place, though the breakfast was only okay if you’re expecting a hotel-style selection. There are stairs, so it’s not a good fit for someone with limited mobility. The shared laundry room is awkward to use because of the jacuzzi. Two dogs live in the house, one indoors and one outside, which may be an issue for people with allergies. Dust removal could also be better, and the bathroom condition could use some attention.

A quiet place where you can sleep really well. Breakfast was gentle on the stomach, with boiled porridge, rolls and the like, plus strong coffee. Give it a try.
