This lodge seems suited only to summer use. When I visited in May, it was quite chilly inside. The rooms are modest but clean, with shared toilets and showers. There’s no breakfast, though a fridge and kitchen are available in the middle of the house. Room rates are cheap, and it’s a short walk from the city center.

We stayed in May 2019 and found it clean and good value. The kitchen was well equipped, and the sitting room got plenty of sun. Loviisa was an easy walk away. Recommended.

A clean, quiet little room in a museum-like place. It’s an easy, affordable stay, especially handy for cyclists. The location is good and it was easy to find. Toilets and washrooms are down the corridor.

The room was roomy enough for two, and everything was clean, though the toilet and shower were shared. Breakfast cost extra, but it was tasty and had plenty of variety. The service was friendly, and they accommodated our requested check-in time at no charge. The setting was peaceful and idyllic. Both central Loviisa and the housing fair area were within walking distance.

We had bikes, so the one-kilometer ride into the city center took just a few minutes. The location was really good, and I loved the breakfast at Ulrikanhovi. The host was lovely and shared some interesting history about the building.
