There was plenty of room for our big group, with lots of bedrooms and a nice yard overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the traditional wood-heated sauna, then grilled dinner on the deck with the same ocean view. The boat, boathouse, and other equipment were all useful, and the host made us feel welcome.

The view was just right, the sauna was good, and the cottage is in a good location. But the interior is shabby and old-fashioned and could use an update. The small cottage by the shore wasn’t fit to stay in, so sleeping was only possible in the upper cottage. We never got the key, and the doors were left open all the time. The coffee maker was dirty too, so I had to wash the pot before I could use it.

The only drawback was being close to the public road. Otherwise, it’s a great place for a large group, with plenty of space, lots of clean matching dishes, a washing machine, and great saunas.
