The hosts were so friendly and shared lots of tips on what to see. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented, too. We stayed one night in the “summer” room. It was comfortable, though there wasn’t a full toilet with running water inside. Using the sauna instead turned out to be a great experience.

The homemade breakfast was a highlight, especially the smoothie and blueberry pie. The house is beside the tracks, but trains rarely pass. Our host was welcoming and told us about the place’s history and the Finnish smoke sauna tradition. It’s a lovely spot in a tiny town with not much to do, and we had a great time.

The breakfast was incredible, and the hosts were great. We had a cosy room with nice views, and the vintage sauna made it a perfect combination for us. Just note that the summer rooms don’t have a shower, though you can use the sauna house instead. We’d stay again.
