Gröna Uddens Camping

The view and location are wonderful, and the information staff are lovely. Finding a good RV spot can be difficult because there are no assigned spaces and some people claim a large area for themselves. There are also too few toilets for a site this big. A few toilet blocks at different ends would help. Since the showers and toilets are together, it's not clear which queue people are waiting in.

The beach is close by, and it's only a short walk or bike ride into the city centre. We stayed three nights at this lovely campsite surrounded by nature. There was lots of room for everyone, and it was peaceful. The facilities were good and up to a sufficient standard. A fantastic place, even for a longer holiday.

We had a nice family stay in one of the cabins. It was clean and had a small furnished kitchen. You can bring your own sheets or rent them. The young local staff were all lovely. The kids' mini golf was well maintained, and the beach was great, with clean, nice sand. There's a café open until 11pm, and food is served until 19:30. The sea view is peaceful and lovely. The downside is that there's no noise policy before 11pm, so groups of young people can play techno all day while getting very drunk, which can ruin your stay. There's a guard enforcing the rules after 11pm, but not at 5am when the groups return and pass out on their porches with the music still on.

Everything was super clean and had what we needed for a weekend away. It was completely quiet in the off season, which was lovely. Great location, with a sauna right by very shallow water, and a pleasant walk into town.
