Klintvägen Apartments

The apartment’s photos gave a very misleading impression of what I actually got. On arrival I was shocked by the difference: the room was cramped and poorly maintained, with many holes in the walls. The kitchen looked modern and well-equipped in the pictures, but in reality it had outdated appliances, very few utensils, and no dishwasher, which made cooking difficult. Thin walls let in every sound from outside and made it hard to sleep. When I raised the gap between the listing and the apartment with the host, I felt dismissed. The host said photos of the actual flat were mixed in with the others, but gave no clear way to tell which apartment I’d be assigned. The photos of the place I stayed in were deceptively mixed on Booking.com with pictures of nicer apartments. The owner also said we were lucky and should probably be grateful because we got a bigger apartment, 29 sqm, with a 6 sqm balcony and private washing machine. All of those facilities were listed in the description, so I don’t see what was supposed to be lucky about it. I’m attaching real photos of where I stayed. Potential guests should be careful and think through the choice before booking.

Getting in was easy with a door code, and the apartment was in a good spot, not too far from the center. We were given a larger apartment than we’d booked, which was a nice surprise, but its standard was much lower than described. Soundproofing seemed poor too, since we could clearly hear people talking and walking around in the apartment above.

Super clean and cozy, and a lovely place for a staycation. We could relax indoors with friends and make use of the complete facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful too.

There were seven of us, and the apartment was spacious and good for our group. It was well equipped, and the price was very good for the quality. The host was kind and attentive. The air conditioning could have been better, but I had no other complaints.
