The cottage worked well, and the host was nice. We had the king's cottage this time, though next time we'd like to come back and try the river cottage. It's a great base for fishing and checking out the fish roads.

The scenery was hard to put into words, and there was plenty to explore on foot, including atmospheric hiking trails. It was a peaceful spot, easy to find, with lots to see and do nearby. We found everything we needed at the property, and it suited families well. The beds were comfortable, and the barn stayed a comfortable temperature for sleeping.

There's so much to enjoy by the river: cozy cottages, canoeing, SUP, a hot tub, a dance floor, and amazing views. Add a hundred more sunny days and what else could you ask for on vacation?

Right by the Merikarvian River, the cottages feel cozy, and the service is warm and friendly. Host Juho is happy to take you kayaking on the river, and he also has a cottage in the Oura archipelago.
