I wasn’t convinced by traditional Finnish food at first, but they changed my mind. The food was great, the service was really nice, and the spices were very well used. It was my first time trying bear, and I ate it with respect.

The sauna was so relaxing, and breakfast was delicious, served on rustic tableware. I loved every bit of this beautiful, peaceful place in the countryside. I’ll definitely come back someday.

The food was incredible, with lots of fresh vegetables, herbs, plants, and edible flowers, and it was quite different. The host is super friendly, and the clean, spacious rooms are in an old traditional wooden guest house full of character. Definitely worth staying.

At Puukarin Pysäkki, the food is homemade from scratch, local, ecological, and traditional with a nice twist. It’s simply incredibly delicious, one of the best restaurants in Finland.
