Best Western Hotel Apollo

I've stayed here a few times, and the service, breakfast, sauna, parking, and room have all been good. It works well as a stopover on the way to Lapland.

Breakfast had lots of choices, including plenty of tea and coffee, and they left complimentary snacks and drinks out each day until 10 pm. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our executive room was roomy and comfortable, with its own sauna, though the lack of air conditioning made summer nights too warm. Since the windows faced the street, we couldn't leave them open overnight because of noise from a nearby nightclub and karaoke bar. The location is handy for the station, Oulu's main sights and parks, and there's free on-site parking on a first come basis.

The staff were amazing, so friendly, and the food was tasty. It has a lot of atmosphere and big rooms too. I think this place deserves at least four stars.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had at this price, with loads of different things to choose from. Our room also came with a sauna for the same price as one without, so of course we picked it. When did you last have a sauna in the morning at a hotel? For the price, room and location, I really can't complain.
