The lakes look incredible from the tower's 360-degree viewpoint, about a 7-10-minute walk away. Even in winter, we found berries in the snowy forest, and we could imagine how many there might be in summer. There's a boat dock five minutes away, and summer fishing in Finland is excellent. Ski trails wind through the woods, with a ski jump nearby too. Inside, the house is stylish and cozy, with a convenient room layout and panoramic forest views from the windows and terrace. It has all the appliances we could need, including a clothes and shoe dryer that got things dry in hours instead of a day or two, which is especially useful in winter. The sauna warms up quickly, and there's a separate shower and toilet. In winter, you can even run outside and roll around in the snow. We got good sleep, relaxed, walked around, and enjoyed the fresh air. Huge thanks to Svetlana for such a wonderful break. We'll definitely return. What a magical place!
