We could watch for the northern lights from right inside our igloo, one of the highlights of our stay. Pyhä Igloos is about a 1.5-hour drive from Rovaniemi, and the place was spacious and well equipped for a longer visit. Being able to cook for ourselves made it feel cozy and personal. There's a supermarket a short walk away, and parking is readily available if you're driving. A memorable, unique stay with comfort and convenience, plus a bit of Arctic magic.

Minna made us feel so welcome. She was kind and always answered our questions about the hotel, the area, and the northern lights. When I left a belonging on a bus, she helped by calling the bus company. She also prepared wood and fire starter for the BBQ hut after I asked about it, without us even asking her to do that. Her care made the stay really comfortable. There's no Uber in Pyha, so we used the local taxi service, which costs more.

We stayed in the "igloo" for my partner's birthday, and it had everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable, just a few steps from the bottom of the ski slopes and a short walk from the supermarket in town. We didn't see the aurora, but sleeping under the stars was still magical.

Our stay was short, but we enjoyed it all a lot. The igloos are roomy and cozy, and the sauna and jacuzzi we booked were wonderful too. Highly recommend!

We stayed for two days in October and everything was perfect. The things in the apartment were all great quality. The reception was supposed to be open during certain hours, but nobody was there when we went :(
