If you're in Pori, this is a great place to stay. Villa Mairea is nearby too, and it's well worth seeing. Just remember to book the tour online.

The whole Noormarku site was fabulous, and staying in Vainiola was one of the highlights of our Finland trip. Alvar Aalto designed it. Our suite was comfortable, with a shared kitchen, dining room, and lounge. Absolutely stunning.

We had such a lovely, refreshing holiday here, and the food was amazing ❤️❤️🥂

We had dinner at the Noormarkku Club, and the pheasant with truffle filling was juicy and expertly cooked. We stayed overnight, then enjoyed a walk around the beautiful grounds, taking care to avoid the private properties. The setting, with its ironworks history and lovely buildings, is stunning. Some of the most significant buildings are still privately used, and you can only see the museum and places like Villa Mairea on limited guided tours. We couldn't join one over the weekend this time.

The service was thoughtful throughout our stay, and breakfast had a nice selection of good-quality products. Our accommodation was lovely, quiet, and easy to find. The area is peaceful, with beautiful old buildings and well-kept gardens to wander around for a day or two. I'd definitely come back.
