There should be more effort to make the place cute. There's often broken glass and rubbish on the ground, along with shoes and gloves. I know people lose things, but it's spooky seeing them left there instead of in lost and found, like someone went missing.
It's a very basic travel center, with no cafeteria. There's a grocery store nearby, behind the large building next to the bus stops, where you can get fresh coffee, pastries, and other things. You can find a WC in VR's building (rautatieasema), but remember you need a 1 € coin.
Easy to find downtown, next to the railway station and SAMK. It's a modern-looking bus station, and the digital timetables are clear on all platforms.
A nice, modern place with infrastructure that works well. Easy to leave from and come back to.
The bus station is nice and clean.
