We had a great one-night stay for four. Our room had a double bed and two singles, and was just right. The hosts were lovely and gave clear instructions. It’s a peaceful hotel about five minutes from Posio center. Breakfast is available for 14€, and the sauna costs 25€ per room. A good place to stop if you’re traveling from Kuusamo to Rovaniemi.

The reception was always closed, and they never tried to contact us. Still, the host called at 8:30 in the morning, before our stay was over, and threatened to call the police about a bill they hadn’t sent. They claimed we’d left secretly. Calling customers thieves before even sending the bill is incredibly rude. Awful customer service.

The surroundings were beautiful, and seeing the northern lights over the lake behind the hotel was a highlight of my trip. I stayed for the first two weeks of February 2022 in a spacious apartment with a kitchen and a lovely view. Irina and her husband, the hotel owners, were so friendly and helpful. One of the best trips of my life. Thanks, Irina, I absolutely recommend it.

A really clean, nice hotel, and a great place to rest compared with the rest of Finland. Breakfast is good and only 14€ per person, so I’d recommend booking a room with breakfast included. Full recommendation! :)
