8/10
The owner was so helpful, and with us as the only guests in the off-season, the stay felt peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a former senior home, so the interior has an 80s/90s feel and can seem a bit like a hospital, though it’s still cozy. The sauna area was nice, and breakfast was great, with house jam and plenty to choose from. I’d recommend it for a night or a longer stay.

We stopped in for a meal. The food was really good, with plenty of variety and lovely presentation.

The food was cold, and there were hardly any signs around. The hotel felt moldy, and I got severe indoor air symptoms while there. Bathroom tiles and silicone were in poor shape, paint was chipped throughout, and the window sills were dusty and dirty.
