The small cabin itself was tidy and had a fridge, and the shared shower facilities were nice. We were happy with the 71,15 € booking price for one night, but at check-in they added 13€ per person for linen, 52 € extra for the bunk beds. Ebookers rated it as 4-star accommodation, and didn’t mention that linen wasn’t included. It wasn’t the best place to stay during the heat wave, with no fan or air conditioning, though that was expected. The hidden linen charge spoiled the experience.

This worn-out area feels cheaply built and could use work from a professional landscape architect. More plants and better planned lighting would make it much more appealing 😬

Our clean summer house for four was right beside the lake, and there are a few places to swim. It has two bunk beds, but it’s really only suitable for kids, and the beds are small. One of the upper bunks is much smaller than the others. There’s a fridge, microwave, and some cupboards. We rented sheets and towels for €13 per person, and parking beside the house was easy.

We spent three days at Punkaharju Resort with the whole family and really enjoyed the beautiful nature, range of activities, and friendly staff. Special thanks to the Pavilionki restaurant for a wonderful breakfast!

Such a beautiful place, and I don’t have many complaints. My apartment wasn’t very clean, as you can see in the photos, and reception was closed on Sundays. I had to go there to arrange activities like mini-golf and the tree obstacle course, but couldn’t do that on Sunday.
