A lovely spot for summer with the family, and the staff are very helpful. There are loads of mosquitoes and other flies, though, so bring repellent and keep the doors shut in the evening. It’d be nice if the cottages had sliding screen doors.

The cottages sit right by the lake, several kilometers from the main road. A peaceful, quiet place to spend a vacation.

We had another full 10-point summer holiday in the Koivulahti cottage. Big thanks to Pasi and all the staff, who made us feel welcome with a warm reception and flexible service. They helped us get the kind of holiday we wanted. The cottage was really clean, and both the yard and beach were in good shape. It’s peaceful all around, and the lake has plenty of fish, so there’s no need to head farther out to sea to fish. For the price, Karjalan Helmi is a reliable choice, with quality to match. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a cottage, 5/5! The staff are so friendly 😊

A quiet spot by the lake, with clean, simple apartments for 70 euros a night that sleep four. The hosts are friendly. Linen and cleaning cost extra, and breakfast isn’t included. It’s a good choice for a few days, though I wouldn’t pick it for just one night.

The cottage was clean and nicely equipped 👌 We really enjoyed the sauna, and the little beach was great for a swim. I recommend it 🥰
