Villa Skitunäs

The indoor decor made the villa feel warm and comfortable, and the outdoor space and sea view were great. We had a good stay, though a few things were frustrating. There weren’t any sheets on the beds, so we had to bring our own to fit the random bed sizes. For a villa this large, the fridge space and number of bathrooms felt inadequate. We also had to pay extra each time we used the outdoor or beach sauna. Maybe that’s normal in Finnish hospitality, but I wouldn’t expect these hassles at a place of this class.

There’s lots of sleeping space, a comfortable living room, and a good sauna in this beautiful villa near the sea. I’d recommend it for work gatherings and events, or a holiday.

The place might work for a party, but I wouldn’t choose it for a relaxing family holiday. The floor was dirty and sticky with beer, and there were ants everywhere. Neighbours are only 20m away on either side, and one has a workshop with construction going on from 8am-6pm. There are better options.

A homely villa with two saunas and room for a family or a small office group. The surroundings are awesome, too.
