A nice alternative to staying in a hotel. The two small apartments are private, practical, and in a good location. One has a traditional sauna. The retired couple who run the place are lovely, and the owner speaks English and responds quickly. Highly recommend.

Ajuri house is small, but a nice place to stay, with everything needed for living. I was there in October and found it a little cold at night.

The location made it easy to explore on foot: the sea was a short walk away for a morning swim, and museums, the harbor, parks, cafes, and restaurants in the center and old town were just minutes away. We stayed two nights in the Ajuri apartment, which has a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchen. It’s a cozy place with a lot of history and what you need to manage on your own. The owner couple were very friendly. We’d happily recommend it as an alternative to a regular hotel.

The old wooden blocks of Tammisaari are right outside, and the morning swim was only a few minutes’ walk away. The place has a lovely soul and everything you need for an easy, relaxed holiday. Everything worked smoothly, and the hostess was friendly and quick to help. A great choice if you love art.
