The team is what makes Loft Hotel Rauma special. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, and the owners are wonderful. I’ve been to Rauma often, and this is the one hotel that makes me feel at home while away from home. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The breakfast selection may be limited, as some reviews say, but everything I’ve had was fresh and delicious. I value that quality and attention more than a big buffet where food might sit out for hours or days. There’s always a coffee machine and sweets for guests. Also, there’s a pizza vending machine very close by that serves surprisingly good pizza at an affordable price.

A small, pleasant hotel with a really good breakfast that has a local touch.

Rauma’s beautiful old town is within walking distance, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I stayed at Loft Hotel for a long work trip and had a fantastic time. The owners were incredibly accommodating, while the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The beds were large and comfortable, and we slept well. Staff were friendly. The hotel looks modern and newly built, but keep a few things in mind: public transport is limited, so without a car you may have a long walk or need a taxi. The old town is about 30 minutes away on foot. There’s no one at reception before 15:00, and there’s no sign to let you know. The bathroom shelves could have been cleaner, and showering may leave the whole bathroom flooded.

It has a premium feel, with personal service from the very friendly, helpful owners who run it as a family business. I liked that, since hotels can otherwise feel anonymous and boring. The room was a bit hot and hadn’t been cleaned during my two-day stay. I’m not sure why, but I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Rauma.
