We arrived at Lapinmaa Apartments around 23:30 on 16 Feb 2026 and found a room that hadn't been cleaned or prepared. There was rubbish from the previous guest, the bed hadn't been changed, and we couldn't find any clean bedding. We had to sleep uncomfortably and avoided the pillows because of hygiene concerns. I contacted the host through Agoda straight away, but got no reply. I emailed the property after our stay and still heard nothing. There was no communication from the host at all. I have photos showing the room's condition. This really affected our trip. I can't recommend the property because of the cleanliness and lack of communication.

The late checkout had been agreed to, and when we asked for a little extra time because our tour was running late, the housekeeper said that was okay. Then a man suddenly slammed the door open, yelled that we had five minutes to leave, and threatened us. We were there with a 4-year-old child. The service was awful.

The host gave us excellent advice, and the apartment was lovely: spacious, clean, comfortable, and well located near shopping. It had most of what we needed, and there was even a rice cooker. The kitchen only had a few spoons and no large knife for cooking. There was shampoo in the bathroom but no body soap.

The apartments are nice and right in the city centre, though I thought they were a bit overpriced. We paid €255 a night for a two-bedroom place in February. I liked having a smart TV with internet, which isn't common in hotels or apartments. There was no body or hair wash in the bathroom, so bring your own.
