We chose the kieppi chalet mainly for the hot tub, then got word a week before arrival that it wouldn’t be available. Once there, the air circulation fan made a horrible noise, like a turkey stuck in a pipe. You could hear it from the front bedroom and lounge, and turning it off didn’t stop it. We were only told to turn the dial down. The loft room’s ceiling is extremely low. Even though we’re not a tall family, my kids hit their heads several times. The cabin was reasonably clean, but cupboard doors popped open by themselves and other doors wouldn’t shut. We couldn’t get the sauna working either. It needs maintenance, especially for the price. We had a cabin in levi for a third of the cost and it was on another level. The setting here is beautiful, though.

The cabin was warm and lovely, with a fully fitted kitchen, and having the sauna right there was great. Normond, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful. We were four adults and had a car, which I’d recommend. There are plenty of local supermarkets, and everything, even the airport, was 15-25 minutes away. Beautiful location.

We loved how beautiful these cottages looked, and they were really well insulated with underfloor heating. There are two bedrooms plus a loft with beds, two bathrooms, a sauna, full kitchen, living room with TV, and a big dining table. There’s also a fireplace, with wood stored by the front door. You can walk and hike here, and the Ski Resort (Lapland hotel) is just a two-minute walk away. It has a good restaurant with a great view. We wished we could stay longer. Really recommend it.

The property was just right: clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies and firewood, and in a wonderfully quiet spot close to town. Service was efficient and communication easy, with no hassles. Highly recommended!

The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was no closet space in the rooms, and the beds felt small and uncomfortable.
