Being close to the airport, city center, attractions, recreation areas, and ski facilities made getting around easy. The cottages had dependable Wi-Fi and everything we needed, and even at -29°C the heating kept them warm and comfortable. Our stay was thoughtfully organized from the start. The host was responsive and supportive, had things ready before we arrived, and made check-in smooth. We’re grateful for the care that made the visit so memorable. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

It felt like having a well-equipped home away from home :) The kitchen had what we needed, there was a washing machine and parking, and the kids had a backyard full of snow to play in!!!

There was loads of room inside, and the house offered all the amenities we needed. Check-in was easy, and it was even better than the photos suggested. The forest trails at Ounasvara were only 300m away. We spent hours sledging and playing in the snow with our kid, and there were plenty of sledges at each cottage. The ski slopes were a 500m walk, with a café and restaurant there. Across the river, a 20-minute walk gets you to an S market and a K Market at the intersection beyond the bridge. By taxi, it was 8 minutes into Rovaniemi town and the Artikum Museum, 12 minutes to Santa Clause village, and 16 minutes from the airport.

There was plenty of space, and having two toilets was a plus. Check-in was really easy and contact-free. The bathroom had no lock, which was a big downside. It would have been good to have privacy in the toilet, shower, or sauna. The photos showed a bunk bed for our kids, but our room had one single bed and one 120cm bed that was meant to sleep two adults and two kids. That setup just wasn't practical.

The apartment was spacious and really clean, and it was warm and quiet too. The host was very helpful. We'd definitely come back.
