A destination resort for big families, with everything fully equipped...

We could head out for long walks and winter sports straight from this comfortable, modern holiday home. Forests and clear-water lakes surround the quiet residential area on Rovaniemi's outskirts, and there are open spaces nearby for watching and photographing the Northern Lights. The kitchen and other rooms were fully equipped, sauna included. On cold days, the fireplace made the living room especially cozy. Annett was friendly and helpful, speaks German, English, and Italian, and could be reached by phone when away. Parking was free at the property or in front of the house. The bus stop and shops were a short walk away. By car, the city center and its amenities took about 15 minutes to reach. The nearby hospital offers medical assistance around the clock. The ARKTIKUM Museum and Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle were easy to get to by car or public transport. Thanks to Annett for her hospitality. I highly recommend her holiday home, Terra Ultima.
