The Mathildedal harbor and center, with its shops and restaurants, are about 500 meters away. The seaside sauna and a small beach are a few hundred meters from the cottages. Each spacious two-floor cottage sleeps 6-8 and has a large terrace. Inside there’s a full kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker, plus a sauna and fireplace. There’s a TV and radio, two toilets, one shower, a bedroom and sofa downstairs, and beds for six upstairs.

There’s enough space for 6-8 people in one cottage, and it has two bathrooms. The cottages are cozy, with good cooking facilities and hot water.

There’s plenty to do here, whether you want an active holiday or just a change of scene. The area has local crafts and art, cafes, seaside restaurants, and an ironworks village. You can play tennis or mini golf, swim in the sea or lake, or try stand-up paddle boarding. There’s also a village brewery, a pub with good performers through the summer, a Christmas market, and a lovely cake and chocolate cafe where you can pick up tasty souvenirs, including gluten-free treats.
