I paid almost 200 euros for one night on a weekday business trip, and slept terribly. There was plenty of parking, the staff were friendly, and the hotel looked fairly modern, with rooms that seemed suitable. The problem was the soundproofing, especially in room 613, which had an adjoining door to the next room. That could be handy for families, but it blocked almost no sound at all. I could hear the other guest's TV, footsteps, toilet use, and even talking and moaning in his sleep. Those sounds weren't intentionally loud, and he had every right to make them in his room. The door just let everything through. Sudden moans and muddled sentences kept waking me up. On a work trip, I also couldn't use the room for remote meetings or even a phone call, since the person next door could hear my business details. That's a serious privacy problem. There was also an odd vibrating noise from somewhere I couldn't identify, perhaps the air conditioning compressor or something deeper in the building. It was distracting and annoying. When I raised the soundproofing issue, reception asked if I was staying another night, presumably to offer a room change. I wasn't, so all I got was an apology. At this price I expected a much better night's sleep and at least passable privacy for calls. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for business trips, or the rooms with adjoining doors to anyone who needs a good night's sleep.

The Sunday brunch has lots of different foods, and the setting is gorgeous. The restaurant is amazing, with a varied menu available in both Finnish and English. The waiters and waitresses are super friendly and attentive. Highly, highly recommend it if you're after a phenomenal experience 🥳

The ventilation is very noisy, and the bathroom is so small you can't use the towel in there. My first room was very cold. After I complained, I got another one, but it was still only 20 degrees. Fine for sleeping, but not for doing anything in the room.

The food at the attached Lakeus Matador restaurant was downright amazing, though a little pricey. You can also get bikes to explore the city, which is a nice extra. The hotel is right in central Seinäjoki, and the staff were very polite, courteous, and accommodating with all our requests. Rooms are compact and cozy, with all the amenities you need. The Lumene toiletries are top class, there are different lighting settings, and an iron and ironing board are provided. There's also a huge wall-mounted LED TV for binge-watching your favourite shows. We had a very nice stay, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seinäjoki.

We had great days at the conference. The rooms were clean and good, and the ladies at reception were lovely. The restaurant staff were kind too, especially the bald, bearded waiter wearing a plastic mask. Sorry, man, I forgot to ask your name :) The chef can cook a perfect steak.
