Some staff were very friendly, and the room was ordinary but comfortable. Still, we had a disappointing few nights and felt misled about the facilities. We'd booked partly for the pool, but the “spa,” just a small pool and sauna, was only available for short private-use periods and cost extra. We paid 74EUR for two adults and a toddler to use it for 50mins, which felt far too expensive. The reception pamphlet quoted a different price; when I asked, I was told booking dot com customers pay more. We'd also planned to have dinner at the hotel restaurant because there aren't any nice restaurants nearby. On arrival we were told it was closed except for private events, even though the website made it look like a regular restaurant with an a la carte menu, and the information pack we got on check-in suggested the same. It left me feeling taken advantage of by a hotel that seems to present itself as high end, though it was just normal.

The view from our balcony was partly blocked by a construction project, and the restaurant and Spa hours changed to our disadvantage at first. Even so, we decided to come, and that turned out to be the right call. The hotel itself was top class.

We were staying nearby rather than at the hotel, but had a very pleasant dinner at the restaurant. The food and wine were excellent, and the service was just as good. Prices seemed very reasonable to me. I can recommend the dinner and the atmosphere of the hotel, though I don't know the room prices and haven't stayed there.

It's a small hotel, modern, new and very clean. The breakfast area was fantastic, especially for such a small place. With the views and ski slopes close by, I can see it becoming popular.

The rooms are very good, and the welcome team was great. Ainoa restaurant serves really delicious food. I recommend it.
